This
month we are continuing our interview with Annie
Downs. Annie is a great writer with her own blog, annieblogs.com. She
has written several Bible Studies and articles and is on her way to
getting her first book published. She is also passionate about seeing
young adults find true value in God and His love for them. She weaves
personal stories, humor and scripture and invites her readers to
experience a fulfilled life with a living God who loves deeply. And she
is our guest this month. What vision have you found God placing in your heart this season?
Oh wow. So much. I’m a freelance writer/editor and 2009 is my first year of doing this full time. So it has definitely be a year of trusting Him and allowing Him to provide for me in many ways- including financially! This has also been my first full year in Nashville, and I’m really excited about that- I feel like being here is a BIG part of my story, so I’m excited to see what He is doing. [Of course, it goes without saying that I’d love to meet a dude in 2009. J] I look towards this year with a lot of excitement and expectations. I’ve never enjoyed being me as much as I am enjoying it right now.
Any resolutions that you made that you want to share?
I’m not big on “resolutions” because I can’t really “keep them”. I guess I’m just resolved to keep on. Keep on being me, keep on seeking God and growing in my knowledge and understanding of Him, keep on pursuing writing opportunities, keep on praying for my husband and keep on believing God to be working all things out for my good and His glory.
And maybe exercise more and deal with my serious addiction to cheese.
Love it, love it! Oh... and I think you're funny.
