My favorite tip is…Get a partner. I have always found that having a friend to hold you responsible makes the commitment level way higher. Find someone who will do a diet with you, start up a workout with you, split the cost of a trainer, go to a zoomba class….Whatever it is, exercise is so much more fun and easier if you have someone to commiserate with. Find a partner and just make a date. It’s funny how letting ourselves down is easy, but add another person to the equation and our commitment level increases tenfold. Find someone who will make you feel accountable. This doesn’t even need to involve a gym membership it can be hiking dates, Wii fit dates, walking the neighborhood, doing a yoga tape, on-demand fitness workout, dog park, stroller walk, and so on and so forth…it does not have to be complicated. Just find someone who will help you “JUST DO IT”.
