The Cowarts (couples + kids)
Meet the Cowarts- Jeremy, Shannon, Adler, and Eisley. Cute, cute people. I started out as a nanny for this family and over time, it felt like I was one of the family. One of the most beautiful surprises while watching someone else’s kids is when your heart is full of love for them. They have opened their home to me, the kids think I’m pretty fun, and the parents are dear friends. I needed a safe landing place. I needed a place where I knew that the rawest of Annie moments was welcomed. And the Cowarts gave me that place.
I like being friends with families. It’s safe. Watching a married couple interact, as well as love their children well, is another great opportunity for me to prepare myself for that season of my life. I also get to go home after changing diapers and making chicken nuggets and appreciate my single life a little bit more. It’s fun to love a family. You should try it sometime.
