"This weeks Thumbprint come from our friend and guest blogger Martha Wolfe."
The following story is one about the Lord changing my boundaries when I did not know I needed them changed. In high school one of my most painful memories took place when some “girlfriends” “forgot” to pick me up for a football game. I was crushed. It would be fifteen more years before I would become a Christian, so I didn’t really know to go to the Lord with this heartache. The Lord knew exactly what I needed even when I did not know what to ask for. He changed my friends. These were new friends who were real and sincere. I am still friends with some of them today. The other crowd would have never loved me for me. It would not be until years later that I would recognize the hand of the Lord in this painful incident. He gave me what I needed before I came to know Him personally. He is still picking my friends and these dear people are treasured gifts to my heart.
